| Moncton meet August 9th |

Athletics New Brunswick is very happy to announce a special event that will take place at the new stadium of Moncton 2010 on August 9th from 6pm-9pm.
Already confirm to this event is 2008 Olympians Jared Connaughton. Brian Barnett and Adrienne Power. Also in action will be New Brunswick fastest ever 100m sprinter Michael LeBlanc.
Events being offered:
Men 100m, 200m, 1500m, HJ, TJ, JT (800g), wheelchair 100m & 400m
Women 100m, 200m, 800m, HJ, TJ, JT (600g), wheelchair 100m & 400m
Please note that the minimum entry standards for the meet are:
Men
100m 11.95s 200m 24.95s 1500m 4:25.0 HJ 1.60m TJ 11.00m JT 40.00m
Women
100m 13.95 200m 28.95 800m 2:30.0 HJ 1.40m TJ 9.00m JT 30.00m

Déjà confirmer à cet événement est 3 Olympiens des Jeux de Pekin 2008 soit Jared Connaughton. Brian Barnett et Adrienne Power. Également en action sera l’homme le plus rapide de l’histoire du Nouveau-Brunswick Michael LeBlanc.

A twilight meet sounds nice.
Although I don't meet the min standards, I'll be there to check out the new stadium, and enjoy the excellent competition... I missed World Juniors! (I did see them on CBC live stream, but its not the same). |
